      Carmella's Pizzeria was founded by Kenneth Martin, who first opened the doors to Carmella's Pizzeria in Portsmouth, RI in January of 2002.  He created a mouthwatering blend of specialty pizza's  along with a  full deli menu, and Salads that are to die for.  A new pizza tradition was beginning to take hold of this quaint little corner of the world.  After a short 18 months, the 2nd Carmella's was up and running in Middeltown, Rhode Island.  The Portsmouth store is now owned and operated under Joe Oyer.  Our two stores do serve identical menus.

      We have been honored to win a number of awards for "BEST PIZZA."  However, many of our regular customers continualy try new items.  We offer specialty wraps that range from simple to unique.  Our salads can be considered meals by themselves, with flavors you will not find anywhere else. 

      Aside from our menu selection, what really makes Carmella's who we are, is our starff.  They are friendly, polite, and efficent.  Finally, please take a moment to notice the appearence of our store.  Many of our patrons are amazed that they have entered a pizzeria once inside. Carmella's continues to work towards settigng a new standard.


      Continueously striving for  perfection, we know we're not.   Unfortunately mistakes happen.  Should you ever have any problem with service or food quality, please do not hesitate to call us, ask for a manager and make us aware of what happened.  We will do all we can to ensure your satisfactoin.
